Booking a first appointment at a wellness clinic can feel like a big step, especially if you are not sure which service you need. Knowing what will happen makes it easier. Here is what a first consultation at Savannah Wellness Clinic usually looks like.
Before your visit: what to bring
A list of your current medications and supplements, with doses if you have them
Any recent lab results or relevant medical records
A few notes on what you would like help with and what you have already tried
Your questions. There is no such thing as a silly one.
You do not need a referral, and you do not need to know which treatment you want. Most people arrive with a goal, not a treatment in mind.
During the consultation
Plan for about 45 minutes. Your physician will ask about your goals, your health history and how you are feeling day to day. It is a conversation, not a sales appointment, and nothing is decided for you.
If more information would help, such as lab work, your physician will explain why and what it involves before anything is arranged.
What happens next
If treatment makes sense, you will leave knowing what is recommended and why, including the options that are not right for you. If you would like time to think, that is fine. There is no obligation to start anything.
Wellness consultations are $150. We are a cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance, and the cost of any plan is explained at your consultation.
Ready to talk it through?
Every plan starts with a consultation and a physician evaluation, with no obligation to start treatment.
